Unique, one-of-a-kind, bizarre, collectible 40-year-old tree root stuns the world with his rap and dance action on his YouTube video page: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ta_hSBdfsks
Meet "Roosty" The 40-year-old Rooster Root, a very real tuberous root from a tree/bush found in the California desert back in the late 1960's.
He's so cute and so funny. Just watch his musical video where he raps out his story in a comical fashion: Mr. Roosty The Rappin' Rooster on YouTube. He wants to dance, to sing, to chase the chicks, and to feel like he's a regular rooster, but he ain't -- he's a root. Use this link: "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ta_hSBdfs
Mr. Roosty (Roosty) is for sale to collectors, museums, or anyone who can pony up a lot of money to own this one-of-a-kind, bizarre, unique rooster root. He's about 12" tall and 8" wide.
Probably from a Tamerix tree/bush Mr. Roosty is a real find. He has a head, beak, coxcomb, a wattle (the hangy down thing), a curved neck, a body, some tuberish-type of feathers, and two legs and he's ALL natural with no alterations of any kind.
During the YouTube video he tells his entire story -- even to being found among the slithery snake tracks of the sidewinder snake. He tells how his "mamma" saved him even though she is scared to death of harmless snakes, let alone sidewinder snakes which are not safe, but very deadly. Those snakes could have killed "mamma" as she reached down and plucked him from the sand.
Tamerix trees were bought to the US by the Spanish who then left. The trees were first wanted but then they became alien pests because they sucked up all the water in the area. Now they're considered alien predators.
Mr. Roosty is up for sale to collectors, museums, whoever can come up with the correct highest offer to entice me to sell him. I plan on putting Mr. Roosty up for sale on eBay but I will have a very high reserve. I might put him up for sale on some in the high-end auction houses.
